Finally, after 40 years at the coalface I decided to put all my schtick and experience down in one place. Thanks to John Olsen from the NFSA I had a lot of material to work with, most of which was fresh in my mind, or was after I was prompted. This is the recollections of a kid born in NZ, raised in Fiji and finished at the 1977 school of DIY, then Rasko House (the home of all independent free thinking Sydney music entrepreneurs) before heading up the food chain for a life of getting stuff done, in the form of rock, paper and fixes.
